About
Danilo Licastro’s initial molecular and cell biology scientific background developed into the fields of human genetics, multi species genomics and gene expression using microarrays and next-generation sequencing. In parallel with these activities, he established a strong knowledge and interest in the Bioinformatics and Biostatistics analysis of the produced -omics data.
Since 2013, he managed a group of wet biologists and bioinformaticians capable to develop comprehensive processes, from data production to analysis and interpretation. In recent years, he started his own research line focused on the development of multi-omics approaches for the integration of Proteomics Transcriptomics and Epigenetics.
