This platform enables isolation of hazardous pathogens and their characterisation in the most physiological conditions in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo. Containment laboratories up to biosafety level 3 are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation for high content imaging used for functional screenings and drug discovery. Innovative workflows for the safe study of infectious pathogens in their native state with high-end instrumentation present in the consortium allows unprecedented accessibility for structural and functional studies.
