About

After a master degree in statistical physics at Università La Sapienza in Rome, Francesca Cuturello attended the PhD program in Physics and Chemistry of Biological Systems at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste.

She is currently working as a researcher in the Laboratory of Data Engineering at the RIT Institute at Area Science Park, in the context of the Pathogen Readiness Platform @CERIC project.

She has always been interested in the study of collective behaviours in biological systems. Since her PhD, she is particularly focused on analysing the influence of biological sequences evolution on molecular structure prediction algorithms. She is involved in the development and application of Machine and Deep Learning techniques to support research in the field of Life Sciences.
