About
Master’s degree in physics at the State University of Milan, Marco Celoria obtained his Ph.D. in astroparticle physics at the Gran Sasso Science Institute (L’Aquila) studying dark energy and modified gravity.
He carried out a post-doc in Trieste at the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) investigating models for cosmological inflation. Afterwards, he completed the master in High Performance Computing from SISSA / ICTP, working on the optimization of scientific applications for rarefied gas simulations.
In Area Science Park, he is a researcher within the “FAIR-by-design” project focusing on the clustering of large protein sequence databases and specifically DPCfam.
