Marco Prenassi graduated from the University of Trieste with a master’s degree in clinical engineering and a doctorate degree in Neurosciences and Cognitive Sciences. He worked in the fields of medical informatics on multicentric research data platforms and personalized medicine, implantable devices for deep brain stimulation and smart-health applications.
From July 2023 he works for the Laboratory of Data Engineering (LADE) in Area Science Park. He is a data curator for the Pathogen Readiness Platform (PRP@CERIC) and the other projects supporting the FAIR-by-design approach and the harmonization of data between the various laboratories.
