Guidance Services

Researchers in the PRP@CERIC community can receive support from the IP&M helpdesk to define an appropriate Intellectual Property (IP) protection and valorisation strategy. This is the first contact between the researcher and the IP&M Helpdesk. This initial contact is crucial to understand the researcher’s needs and to provide tailored IP protection and guidance.
During this orientation phase, researchers can receive:

• General guidance on IP rights, protection types, and patent procedures (filing, examination, and validation);
• Information on key institutions and regulatory bodies involved in IP management;
• Updates on major IP topics, such as the Unitary Patent, changes in IP regulations, and available incentives for IP valorisation.
