Successful Conclusion of the First Edition of the MDMC Master’s Program

The first pilot edition of the Master in Data Management and Curation (MDMC) reached its successful conclusion with three days of thesis defenses, held on May 26–28, 2025. Students presented their thesis projects, developed over the past seven months at the operational units of the PRP@CERIC and NFFA-DI Research Infrastructures.
🎓In total, 23 students completed the program, 12 of them with top marks cum laude. The quality of the students’ works was widely recognized by supervisors, researchers, and the final examination committee. All the theses are publicly available on Zenodo.

Organized by Area Science Park, SISSA, and CNR-IOM within the PRP@CERIC and NFFA-DI projects, the MDMC Master is shaping the next generation of experts in data management and curation.
