Guidelines For Authors

Abstract Submission

All abstracts submitted for the Conference “Pandemic preparedness: Achievements, current challenges, and new frontiers” must:

  • be submitted online via the official Conference form
  • be submitted using the abstract submission form downloadable in docx and odt formats
  • be written in English
  • include a maximum of 300 words (including title)
  • include a maximum of 5 keywords
  • not include abbreviations, images, and references
  • be structured including the following subsections:
    • Introduction and Objectives
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions

Abstracts not compliant with submission guidelines or received after the deadline will not be considered.

Further Information

  • Authors selected for presentation should register on the Conference website following notification of acceptance of their abstract, and in any case no later than the registration deadline of Saturday 31st August 2024. Failure to register will result in withdrawal of the abstract.
  • Multiple submissions are allowed. However, one Author can present up to 2 abstracts (1 oral and 1 poster presentation) during the Conference
  • By submitting abstracts, Authors and Co-authors already agree to transfer the copyright for the accepted abstracts
  • All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published (by submitting an abstract the applicant implicitly gives consent for its publication)
  • By submitting abstracts, presenters do accept that all or a portion of comments, documents and slides/videos presented at the Conference will be recorded
  • The Conference will be an in-person event; presenters must attend and present at the Conference in-person
  • All presenters are expected to disclose any (potential) conflicts of interest
