Focused-Ultrasonicator for DNA Fragmentation and Protein Extraction
The ME220 Focused-ultrasonicator is a multi-sample ultrasonicator designed primarily for DNA shearing applications for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) requiring fragment sizes from 150 bp to 5 kb.
- DNA shearing: highly reproducible and fast DNA fragmentation with isothermal process that ensures no fragmentation bias and high yield.
- Optimised protocol of a few minutes for extraction of nucleic acids DNA/RNA/NAtot directly from FFPE sections (formalin fixed paraffin embedded)
- Biomarker extraction from small tissue samples (<10 mg)
- Up to 8 processable samples (batch processing) with volumes from 15 μl to 1 ml
- Operating at temperatures from 15 °C to 25 °C.
