On September 18 and 19, 2024, Area Science Park hosted the Tech4EVIta Workshop, organized by the Italian Society for Extracellular Vesicles - EVIta, in collaboration with Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste and CNR-IOM.
The Phenotypic Fingerprinting School, as part of the PRP@CERIC project, offers a unique opportunity for researchers, students, and professionals to explore cutting-edge approaches to studying cellular metabolic pathways perturbed by infections and drug responses.
We are excited to announce the launch of the Structural Biology School, a cutting-edge training opportunity promoted by Area Science Park, Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, and CNR. The school kicked off on Monday, September 9, 2024, and aims to provide insights into the three-dimensional structure of biological macromolecules, such as proteins and nucleic acids, and to explain how this relates to their functions, thus promoting understanding of the molecular mechanisms and interactions.
Area Science Park, in collaboration with Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), and the National Research Council (CNR), is pleased to announce the opening of the call for expressions of interest to participate in the “Phenotypic Fingerprinting School”.
As part of the GeoAdriatic Symposium 2024, Area Science Park brought together leaders from various research infrastructures to discuss the critical role of international cooperation in advancing scientific progress and diplomacy.
We are pleased to announce that on May 6th, the inaugural meeting of the Advisory Board (AB) of the PRP@CERIC initiative took place. During this significant gathering, we had the privilege of introducing the esteemed members of the board, including distinguished academics and industry professionals, whose collective expertise in the field of scientific research and guidance will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and success of our project.
Our ability to respond to future pandemics depends on a constant commitment to develope innovative and effective response strategies. This is the objective of the International Scientific Conference “Pandemic preparedness: Achievements, current challenges, and new frontiers” scheduled from 11 to 13 November 2024 at the Hotel Savoia Excelsior Palace in Trieste.
Following the series of seminars organized in the period May-July 2023, the new series of seminars is an opportunity for scientists to present their scientific focus and/or scientific background with the purpose to highlight their expertise to be exploited within our Pathogens Preparedness network for new multidisciplinary research collaborations.
